"My book is about the journey that carried me from self-loathing to self-acceptance to the most important battle of my life—protecting the disenfranchised. There are many reasons why I risked everything and asked my question the night of the GOP primary, this book is America’s first glance at what those were. It is also meant to send a story of empowerment. Any person can use a single voice to change history. “Always trust the power of your voice” is my motto.
