About this event

As part of its monthly series of events with the Upper Sandusky Community Library, Wyandot County Public Health is hosting its Family Health and Fitness program at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 16, in the library’s large meeting room. Taking place during the library’s Oceans of Possibilities summer reading program, attendees will learn about healthy diets and ways to stay active at any stage in life with the ones they love. Speakers will include staff from the Wyandot County Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program and the Wyandot County Help Me Grow Home Visiting Program. Also joining the chat will be Fortune Bormuth, MHA/ED. Bormuth, an exercise physiologist at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, will discuss family fitness outside the gym, exercise, and the benefits of the family fitness concept. Learn about the dietary needs for women, infants and children, exercise tips for infants and mother to grow stronger together and the dos and don’ts for family members of all ages exercising together.
