Wyandot Safety Council
The Wyandot Safety Council is designed for any employer who pays Ohio Workers' Compensation premiums and wants to promote a safer workplace while reducing workers' compensation costs.
The Safety Council meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Wyandot County EMS Building, 401 N. Warpole Street, Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351. The 2026-2027 Safety Council year runs from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
Membership is $180 per company per year and includes access to monthly educational programs focused on workplace safety, risk management, health and wellness, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.
To qualify for the Ohio BWC 3% rebate on workers' compensation premiums, participating employers must:
- Register for Safety Council before the program year begins
- Attend at least 10 of the 12 monthly meetings
- Meet all Ohio BWC Safety Council eligibility requirements
