Program: Navigating Ohio Workers' Compensation and Controlling Costs

Outline of Program:   Please join us for an informative discussion on workers' compensation in Ohio. We will discuss the basics of the Ohio system, how to control costs, and what to do when you have a claim.

Presenter: Jason Bainum has been with the CareWorks Family of Companies for over two years helping Ohio employers mitigate their workers’ compensation costs. He assumed his current role in 2011 and works with over 4,500 companies with $75 million in premium statewide in navigating the Ohio workers’ compensation system. Thirty-Nine (39) of those companies that Jason works with are Upper Sandusky members who are estimated to save over $115,000 in 2012 alone on their workers’ compensation premium.
Jason is originally from Cincinnati and came to Columbus to attend Capital University where he received both his undergraduate and graduate (MBA) degrees.  He currently lives in Gahanna, Ohio with his wife, Brittany, and their two daughters Ellie (3 years old) & Hali (Eleven months old).
