The fellowship is for chamber leadership and senior staff engaged in improving the birth-to-career education pipeline in their communities. Selected executives will engage in an immersive program to move the needle on regional education attainment and workforce development goals through: sharing challenges and opportunities from peer practitioners; interacting with national experts; and learning from case studies of successes and failures. Throughout, fellows receive structured support in developing and executing plans for specific educational attainment objectives.

  Applicants must be willing to:
  • Attend three in-person fellowship sessions (The Education Attainment Division will cover participants' business travel expenses). Locations are TBD.
    • Session 1: June 23-24, 2015
    • Session 2: October 27-28, 2015
    • Session 3: February 23-24, 2016
  • Develop and execute an educational attainment plan for their region (based on an established effort; the fellowship is meant to assist chambers with their education efforts, not add another project.)
  • Provide mentorship to other chambers and serve as a panelist or guest speaker as opportunities arise
