Latta Supports Budget Resolution to Get Nation’s Fiscal House in Order

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH) today joined his colleagues in the U.S. House of Representatives in voting to support H.Con.Res 27 the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget Resolution.
“We have seen the negative impacts that have resulted from this Administration’s out-of-control spending,” said Latta. “The passage of today’s budget resolution is a positive step toward getting our fiscal house in order and putting our nation back on a path to economic prosperity. It balances our budget in less than 10 years and cuts spending by $5.5 trillion, while also providing increased funding for our national defense to protect our nation from those who wish to do us harm.  In addition, it provides reconciliation instructions that will fully repeal Obamacare and promote access to patient-centered health care reform.
