Latta on Pope Francis' Address to Congress

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) issued the following statement on Pope Francis’ visit to the United States Capitol, where he became the first Pope to ever address a joint meeting of Congress:
“It was a great privilege to hear the Pope at the Capitol, and to be able to share the experience with Fr. Jason Kahle of Bowling Green, Ohio’s St. Thomas More University Parish. The teachings of service for one another, shared by Pope Francis here today, resonate with all of us, regardless of faith. His message on following the Golden Rule – that we should treat others as we wish to be treated – is something we can all carry forth in our daily lives in service to our neighbors, and our communities.”
