A Valentine’s Event That Will Have the Entire Crowd Rockin’ & Rollin’ at the Marion Palace
Marion, OH – January 22, 2016 – Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Palace Cultural Arts Association and United Bank present Ryan J Ratliff as The Piano Man on Saturday, February 13 at the historic Marion Palace Theatre located in downtown Marion, Ohio.
La Rue, Ohio native and Broadway veteran Ryan J Ratliff returns to the Palace as often as possible to entertain his hometown fans, appearing in productions such as “Forever Plaid,” “Hairspray,” “Christmas at the Palace,” “Boardwalk Boys,” and most recently starring in the February 2014 production of “Decades.” However, Ryan reveals ‘The Piano Man’ will mark his final solo appearance as he embarks on a new career in Speech-Language Pathology.
Ryan’s undeniable talent and magnetic personality have won the affection of audiences across the states, but many of his biggest fans are right here in Marion, Ohio. He began singing at the LaRue United Methodist Church. After high school, Ryan attended The Ohio State University then after graduation headed to NYC. Shortly after taking on the Big Apple, Ryan was landing roles in Broadway productions.
Ryan recently shared details about the upcoming show.
“The Piano Man will electrify the audience with the great rock and roll singers who conquered the keys including: Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Billy Joel, Elton John, Barry Manilow, Stevie Wonder, and others. This tribute features me at the grand piano with a live local band, and I’m bringing backup singers and dancers from New York City. Favorites such as “Piano Man,” “Uptown Girl,” “Only The Good Die Young,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” “Crocodile Rock,” “I Just Called To Say I Love You,” “ For Once In My Life,” “Georgia On My Mind,” “Great Balls Of Fire,” “Tutti Frutti,” “You’ve Got A Friend,” and many more, will have the entire crowd rockin’ and rollin’.”
