Latta Receives Award from Foodservice Distribution Industry
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Recently, Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) was presented with the 2016 Thomas Jefferson Award from the International Foodservice Distributors Association for his commitment to increasing economic opportunity and reducing government regulations:
“I thank the International Food Service Distributors Association for presenting me with this award and for their members’ dedication to ensuring customers are provided with quality dining service.” said Congressman Latta. “As Thomas Jefferson once famously said, ‘A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement.’ I remain committed to working with my colleagues to ensure the federal government does not impose burdensome regulations on businesses that would hurt their customer service.”
