TJ George Brings His Melodic Groove to the Palace May Pavilion

Kicking off the Palace Theatre’s 2016-17 Fridays in the May Series will be award winning songwriter TJ George on Friday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m. Influenced by a fusion of Pop, R&B, Folk and Blue-Eyed Soul, TJ creates what he calls Melodic Groove.

An Upper Arlington native, TJ chronicles the moments in his life through songs. His melodic tenor vocals convey depth, and his lyrics connect universally. Song topics range from celebration, new love, bad love, good love, death and most of all living hope. He has written with multiple top ten hit makers and has produced multiple solo CDs including “Melodic Groove,” “Abilene,” and his most recent release, “Fragmented Soul: Volume 1.” TJ also has a CD, which is a shared effort with fellow songwriter and Marion, Ohio native Jasey Schnaars, titled TJC-One.

Tickets to see TJ George perform at the May Pavilion are $15 and seating will be at tables on the main floor and mezzanine levels creating the ideal place to meet friends for a drink, chat, relax and enjoy the entertainment. Purchase a group of 8 or more tickets in advance and the Palace will reserve a table for you. The Fridays in the May Series is funded by Ohio Arts Council.
