WYANDOT COUNTY, OH – The Upper Sandusky Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced it changed its name to the Wyandot County Chamber of Commerce. The new name reflects the ongoing broadening of the Chamber’s membership and services.

“Our name change and more comprehensive services are dictated by the marketplace, “said Kathy Grasz, President & CEO. “We’ve found that our member engagements go beyond the boundaries of the City of Upper Sandusky and we are here in support of every business in Wyandot County. We currently consult with other businesses throughout the County to provide business resources to build their bottom lines. We also broadened our services to include business development training, advocacy, and engagement throughout the business community in Wyandot County.
The Wyandot County of Commerce will continue to work with our Carey Chamber located in Wyandot County along with the surrounding County’s Chambers on various projects as this is good for our community and investors in their quest to succeed.
We have an excellent Chamber with a Board of Directors with a progressive outlook for our community. We believe this is the first step in formalizing the role that we play in the business community and moving our organization in the right direction for our member investors,” said Chris Daris, Edward Jones, and Wyandot County Chamber Chairman. “We want to work in concert with other Chamber’s throughout the area on shared programs and benefits. We are committed to demonstrating this over the next few months.”
“Our membership is excited about this expansion of coverage. While some Chambers embrace their communities’ individual identity, our investors are county-wide, and we want our entire membership to feel represented. Embracing the name Wyandot County Chamber of Commerce accomplishes that,” said Regina Vent, Regina Vent Realty LLC and Chariman-elect of the Chamber Board.
The Wyandot County Chamber of Commerce offers services in a number of areas, including healthcare, Worker Compensation, conference room availability and Professional Development. Our mission is Foster the success of our community by serving the relevant needs of our members.
