Aimee Boes, Adult Programming Specialist, announces the return of the popular and free Clothing Swap at Upper Sandusky Community Library on Thursday, March 30, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The Clothing Swap is like a garage sale, but free. Donations are being accepted now. We are accepting clean, gently used clothing of all sizes and genders, shoes of all sizes, purses and accessories. We will also accept small baby items (car seats, swings, etc.). No toys of any kind will be accepted. USCL staff will sort the clothing and lay the items out by size and type in the library basement.
On March 30, at 6:30 pm, we will open the doors and participants are invited to “shop” for some awesome “new to you” items, all for free. As always, all leftover clothing will be donated to a local charity. “This semi-annual event is a very popular program at the library,” states Boes, “It’s a great way to work for and with the community.” We ask that your donated items are clean and in good repair, and that everyone participating is respectful both of USCL staff and other swappers. The Swap begins promptly at 6:30, and in order to be as fair as possible, no one will be allowed into the swap area before that time.
